My 13 years old nephew was anxiously waiting for BOL channel talk show “Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga” at 10:30 PM. His 20 years old brother, a British Student, was equally excited about the program. Their father told me that both brother watch this talk show every day. I asked my nephew why does he like this show, his answer was ” it looks like truth”. My nephew further told me most of his class fellows like this program. Such intense eagerness by youngster for this talk show prompted me to watch this program. My analysis on Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain program “Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga”. are as follows:
For a long time, Our public resented the corruption and bad governance of ruling elite. Electronic media gave them a way of venting their anger through talk shows, our public made Anchors as celebrity and super stars. It was the time when Public started realising the ugly face of media behind the scenes. Public realised the common agenda shared between ruling elite and media. The anger of public was now shaping into a lava in their hearts and minds never realising where and how to vent? Social media became source of venting such anger but it was still not enough, public anger needed a strong, sharp, and articulate voice. I must say Public found this quality in the voice of Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain. I must say that Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain is the most outstanding brain to know and really understand the pulse of public. Only he could identify the new anger growing in the hearts and minds of public and he gave a voice to this anger at ” Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga” I can predict safely that his program will influence the Pakistani public like never before. Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain is the most lethal anchor ever born on both sides of border. He will destroy many big names in electronic media, he has the capacity to ruin the career of many anchors. Public was looking for such voice to expose the ugly face of journalist and media, they found it in the shape of Dr Amir Liaquat. Big names are feeling the heat and insecurity, they must act together to either silence this voice or buy this voice.
