Pak-Identity is NADRA’s online ID issuance system. Here, you can apply online for your Pakistan ID Card/POC/FRC and have it delivered to your doorstep. It is our highest priority to make the application process more convenient and experience of using our online application portal as pleasant as possible.
Before you start
The online application process at Pak-Identity can be completed in 3 Easy Steps. Before starting your application, please go through the instructions for each step below:
Step 1: Preliminary Assessment
Understand your requirements and then choose the appropriate category to apply in from the following :
- National Identity Card:
- New Overseas ID Card
- Reprint ID Card
- Renew ID Card
- Modify ID Card
- Cancel ID Card

Step 2: Preparation
Before applying please have the following ready:
- Supporting documents.
- Photograph up to 5MB captured as explained in the Photograph Tutorial.
- Valid Credit Card/Debit Card for online payment of your application fee.
Step 3: Online Application at Pak-Identity
You are now ready to apply online at Pak-Identity.
Now, you have to:
- Click on the green Get Started button to launch the Pak-Identity Application System.
- Register your account there
- In case you are within Pakistan, an SMS and email code will be sent to you for registration
- In case you are abroad all required codes will be sent via email only.
- Create an application in the appropriate category.
- Provide your address for card delivery.
- Pay Fee through a Credit Card/Debit Card.
- Provide the required personal details.
- Upload your photograph.
(For Identity Card Applications)
- Edit the suggestive online Urdu data form.
NOTE:
- The names provided in English shall be translated automatically. Please note that the data populated in the online Urdu form is only the suggestive text as per the best system knowledge.
- Applicants must review and customize the information according to their requirement. In case of any changes required, Urdu keyboard option to customize the information is also available.
- This information can also be corrected manually on the printed Urdu form.
- Download the Urdu form and capture 4 fingerprints, as requested by the system.
- In case of CNIC, get the form attested by gazette officer. While applying for NICOP, applicant must fill in the verifier information.
NOTE: Each verifier must be an adult with a valid CNIC/NICOP
- Set the scanner at 600 DPI, JPEG/JPG and Grayscale.
- Scan and upload the form.
- Scan and upload the supporting documents.
- Review the provided information, sign the declaration and submit the application.
(For POC applications)
- Scan and Upload the supporting documents.
- Download the Signature Acquisition Form and provide your Signature.
- Scan and upload the Signature Acquisition Form.
NOTE: The signature Acquisition form will require attestation from the nearest Pakistan High Commission/Embassy/Mission if you are national of the list of countries below:
- Afghanistan
- Bhutan
- India
- Nigeria
- Palestine
- Serbia
- Somalia
- Bangladesh
- Sudan
- Uganda
- Submit the verifier details.
NOTE: Each verifier must be an adult with a valid CNIC/NICOP.
- Review the provided information, sign the declaration and submit the application.
(For FRC applications)
- Keep details of family citizen numbers
- Photographs of applicants and family members under the age of 18.
