ہر بار جب افغانستان کی جانب سے کوئی دہشت گردی کا حملہ ہوتا ہے تو ہماری بہادر سول اور فوجی قیادت افغان افسران سے فون پربات کرتی ہیں، انہیں جی ایچ کیو یا دفتر خارجہ طلب کرتی ہیں اور انہیں مطلوبہ دہشت گردوں کی فہرست دے کر ان کی حوالگی کا مطالبہ کرتی ہیں۔ افغان افسران کو پاکستانی لیڈروں کی اوقات کا پورا اندازہ ہے اس لئے اس طرح کی فہرستوں کو ردی کی ٹوکری میں ڈال دیا جاتا ہے۔افغان افسران کو جب ہمارے سورما سرتاج عزیز کا ٹیلیفون آتا ہے تو وہ بھی مسکرانے لگتے ہیں۔ یہ تو افغان افسران کی بڑی عنایت ہے کہ وہ ہمارے دفتر خارجہ کا فون سن لیتے ہیں۔
ہمارا ذہنی عالم یہ ہے کہ ہم دوسروں سے سبق نہیں لینا چاہتے پھر بھی میں کچھ مثالیں دے کربتانا چاہوں گا کہ زندہ قومیں اپنے مفادات کا کتنا خیال رکھتی ہیں اور وہ کیسے حرکت میں آتی ہیں۔
اسرائیل کو عراق کی جانب سے ایٹمی خطرات درپیش تھے اس لئے اُس نے کسی سے اجازت طلب نہیں کی اور اس کے لڑاکا طیارےعمداً خوابیدہ مسلم ممالک سے ہوتے ہوئے عراق میں اپنے ہدف پر پہنچے، ایٹمی تنصیبات تباہ کیا اور بحفاظت واپس آگئے۔ اسرائیل کو 1972ء میں میونخ اولمپکس کے دوران بد ترین دہشت گردی کا سامنا کرنا پڑا جب فلسطین کی فدائی تنظیم بلیک ستمبر نے اس کے کھلاڑیوں کی گیارہ رکنی ٹیم کو جرمن فوج کے ریسکیو اپریشن کے دوران ہلاک کر دیا۔ بلیک ستمبر تنظم کے بچ رہنے والے ارکان دنیا میں مختلف مقامات میں چُھپ گئے۔ اسرائیلی وزیر اعظم گولڈا مئیر نے “خدا کا قہر“نامی اپریشن کی منظوری دی۔ اس اپریشن کی منصوبہ بندی اور عمل درآمد موساد نے کیا۔ بلیک ستمبر تنظیم کا ایک ایک رکن جو دنیا میں کہیں بھی پوشیدہ تھا مارا گیا۔ گولڈا مئیر بہادر قوم کی بہادر وزیر اعظم تھی جو جانتی تھی خون کا بدلہ کیسے لینا ہے۔ اسرائیلی قیادت نے بلند بانگ دعوے نہیں کئے لیکن انہوں نے اس طرح منصوبہ بندی سے اپریشن کیا کہ پھر دنیا بھر میں کسی کو اسرئیلی باشندوں پر حملہ آور ہونےکی جرات نہ ہو سکی۔
جب کسی ملک پرحملہ ہوتا ہے تو وہ کس طرح رد عمل ظاہر کرتا ہے اس کی ایک مثال امریکہ کی ہے جب اس کے کروز میزائل پاکستان کی فضائی حدود سے ہوتے ہوئے افغانستان میں اپنے ہدف پر لگے۔ بعد میں امریکی افواج ہمیشہ کے لئے افغانستان میں خیمہ زن ہو گئیں۔
اہم ترین امریکی ہدف اسامہ بن لادن کو نشانہ بنانے کے لئے امریکی ہیلی کاپٹررات کی تاریکی میں پاکستان کی فضائی حدود میں داخل ہوئے، اپنے ہدف تک پہنچے، اسے تباہ کیا اور پلٹ گئے۔ پاکستانی ایجنسیاں اور افواج اسامہ بن لادن کی موجودگی کی طرح اس کے خلاف اپریشن سے بھی لا علم رہیں۔ یہ ایٹمی طاقت اور دنیا کی پانچویں بڑی فوج کے حامل ملک کا عالم ہے جس کے لا چار منصوبہ سازوں کا کہنا تھا کہ سُپر طاقت کا مقابلہ ممکن نہیں اوروہ ہمارے ساتھ جو چاہے سلوک کرے۔ ہم ایران، شمالی کوریا، کیوبا، روس، چین ، مہاتیر محمد کے ملائشیا اور طیب اردگان کے ترکی جیسے ممالک سے بھی سبق سیکھنا نہیں چاہتےجو اپنے مفادات کے تحفظ کے لئے امریکہ سمیت کسی بھی ملک کے سامنے ڈٹ جاتےہیں۔
جب افغانستان میں موجود نیٹو افواج نے سلالہ چیک پوسٹ پر حملہ کرکے ہمارے 24جوانوں کو شہید اور 16کو زخمی کر دیا تھا تو اس پر ہم نے کیسا رد عمل ظاہر کیا۔ چند ہفتے کے گرما گرم بیانات اور پاک افغان سرحد کی بندش کے باوجود امریکہ نے معذرت کرنا گوارا نہیں کی۔ امریکہ کودندان شکن جواب دینا تو در کنار بطور قوم ہم بھول چکے ہیں کہ کس طرح ہماری حدود میں داخل ہو کر ہمارےجوانوں کو مار ڈالا۔
جب ترکی کو شام کی سر زمین سے دہشت گرد حملوں کا سامنا ہوا،ترکی نے اپنے جیٹ اور فوج استعمال کرتے ہوئے سیدھا شام پر حملہ کر دیا اور آج بھی ترکی شامی سر زمین پر حملے جاری رکھے ہوئے ہے۔
اسرائیل نے فلسطینی حملوں سے بچنے کے لئے دیوار تعمیر کی۔ بھارت نے پاکستان کے ساتھ ملنے والی سرحدپربھی خاردار تاروں کی دیوار سے اپنے شہریوں کو محفوظ بنایا۔
ہمارے قائدین بھی ہماری طرح ہیں ۔ ہم محض باتیں کرتے ہیں، فلسفہ بگھارتے ہیں مگر عمل بالکل نہیں کرتے۔ آج ہمیں افغانستان کی طرف سے دہشت گرد حملوں کا سامنا ہے جو فوجی اعتبار سے دنیا کا کمزور ترین ملک ہے اورہم دنیا کی پانچویں بڑی فوج والا ایٹمی ملک ہیں۔ پھر بھی ہمارے حکمران معذرت خواہانہ روّیہ اپناتے ہوئے افغانستان سے مدد کے طلبگار ہیں۔ نہ اپنے شہریوں کو تحفظ دینے کے لئے ہم پاک افغان سرحد پر دیوار تعمیر کر سکتے ہیں نہ ان لوگوں پر حملہ آور ہو سکتے ہیں جو باقاعدگی سے ہمارے بچوں، خواتین اور شہریوں کو موت کے گھاٹ اتار رہے ہیں۔ ہم کس کام کے ہیں؟ ہمارے منصوبہ سازوں کا کہنا ہے کہ افغانستان ہمیں سرحد پر دیوار تعمیر کرنےکی اجازت نہیں دیتا۔ اپنے شہریوں کو محفوظ رکھنے کے لئے کیا ہمیں افغان اجازت کی ضرورت ہے۔ پاک افغان سرحد پر دیوار بنے گی تب ہی ہم محفوظ اور مامون رہ سکیں گے۔ ہمیں ٹرمپ سے سبق سیکھنا چاہئے جس نے اقتدار ملے کے دو ہفتے بعد میکسیکو سے ملنے والی سرحد پر دیوار بنانے کااعلان کر دیا۔
ہم اور ہمارے رہنما یہون شریف جیسے حملوں کے کچھ ہی دن بعد اپنی دیرینہ نیند میں چلے جاتے ہیں۔ ہماری نیند ہمارے لئے بڑی نعمت ہے جس میں ہم خود کو محفوظ تصورکرتے کرتے قبر کی آغوش میں جا لیٹتے ہیں۔ ہماری بس یہی ایک خوبی ہے جس کی وجہ سے ہم بُرے سے بُرےخطرے سے بھی بچ نکلتے ہیں۔
اسلحے کے انبار نہیں قائدین کی جرات سے بات بنتی ہے اور یہ بات ہم پر صادق آتی ہے۔
Nations who know how to guard their interests anywhere in the World.

Every time we are hit with terrorist attacks from Afghanistan. Our brave political & Military leadership call Afghan officials on phone, sometimes call them at GHQ, sometimes at Foreign office and hand them over list of terrorist in Afghanistan. We demand actions against them or ask them to hand over those terrorist to us. Afghan Government quite surely understand depth & strength of Pakistani leadership, therefore any such list goes to dustbin.Afghan officials also smile when they receive phone calls from our valiant Sartaj Aziz. It is very kind of Afghan officials that they receive and listen our foreign office calls.
Though our mindset does not allow us to learn anything from others, I would still like to give you some examples how nation who are alive and aware of their national interest, how they act.
Israel was faced with nuclear threat from Iraq, so they did not ask or seek any permission rather flown its fighters jets to travel from Israel to Iraq passing through Muslim countries who obviously were sleeping biologically but also consciously. Israeli aircraft reached their target and destroyed the Iraqi nuclear targets and came back safely.
Israel had one of the worst terror attack during Munich Olympics 1972 when its 11 members of its sports team was killed by Palestinian Commandoes ( Black September a Palestinian Fidyen wing) during rescue operation by German military. After the attack, Three surviving Palestinian commandoes and other members of Black September went into hiding in different parts of world.
Golda Myer, Israeli PM, authorised operation ” Wrath of God” and some called operation “Munich”. The operation was planned and executed by Mossad. Each and every member of Black September was killed in different parts of world by Mossad.Golda Mayer was a brave leader of a brave nation who knows how to avenge their blood. There was never any loud announcement by Israeli leaders but they planned and authorised operation which can make sure that nobody dare attacking Israeli nationals any where in the world.
Another example when a country was attacked and how it reacted is America. After 9/11, USA fired cruise missiles flying over Pakistani aerospace to target suspects of 9/11. Later American Military landed in Afghanistan never to leave again.
American considered Osama Bin Ladin as most vital target and flown its helicopter in the darkness of night penetrating through Pakistani aerospace, reached its target, destroyed its target and went back. Pakistani LEA and Defense Arms were as ignorant as they were over the presence of OBL and entire OBL operation. This was world’s 5th largest Military and nuclear power and our strategist expressed their helplessness that super powers like America cannot be challenged and they can treat us whatever way they wish. Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Russia, China, Malaysia of Mahathir and Turkey of Tayyip Erdogan are examples we don’t want to learn who stand for their national interest whether against America or anybody else.
When NATO forces in Afghanistan attacked on Salala Check Post killing 24 Pakistani soldiers and 16 injured. What was our reaction? Few weeks of tough statements and closing Afghan border while America refused to apologise. Do we even remember as a nation how Americans killed our soldiers inside our border what to talk of any tough & practical response.
When Turkey came under Terrorist attacks from the soil of Syria, Turkey used jets and Military to attack them right in Syria. Even today, Turkey is carrying out military attacks on the soil of Syria.
Israel built walls to protect its citizens from Palestinian attacks.India built barbed wall all along its border with Pakistan to protect its people.
Our leaders are just like us, we talk, we argue, we discuss but no actions. Today, we are facing terror attacks from Afghanistan which is militarily one of the weakest country in the world and we are 5th largest Military and nuclear power, yet our leaders are found apologetic and begging help from Afghanistan.
Neither we can build wall at Pak Afghan border to protect our citizen nor we can attack our enemies who are killing our children, women and civilians regularly, are we good for anything? Listen to our strategist and analyst, they will be found telling you ” Afghanistan” does not permit us to build wall”. Do we need permission from Afghanistan to protect our citizens. We can only be safe and secure if we build Wall along Pak Afghan wall. Let’s learn from Trump who announced to build wall with Mexico within two weeks after holding office.
We and our leaders wake up at every Sehwan Sharif attack and goes to our chronic sleep few days after the attack. Our sleep is our biggest blessing, we feel safe and secure till last moment before reaching to grave, this is our characteristic which makes us to survive in worst times.
Not just weapons and quantity, it is the will and courage of the leaders which matters. This truly applies on us.
