Quaid-e-Azam was so right about Parliamentary System 69 years & we are so wrong even after 69 Years.
Its interesting that pursuance of my thoughts focused on a failed democratic system in Pakistan & its need for major reforms according to local needs is so close to notes made by Quaid Azam 69 years back. What a visionary leader he was? 69 years should have been enough for any nation to understand the failure of our parliamentary system but strange, nation is still the protector of a failed system. In our life, how much time we take to assess the quality of a product while using it, may be a few days, few weeks but imagine the foolishness of a nation who wants to change their life through a system which has failed time n again. “Khuda Nay Aaj Tak Uss Quom Ki Halat Nahi Badli, Na hu Jis Ko Khayal Khud Apni Halat Badalnay Ka”. Allama Iqbal said for us. Basically both Quaid Azam & Allama Iqbal said what we could not understand even after 69 years! but yes dreams make us alive, celebrations make us alive, hopes keep us alive; we found the strategy in hopes, dreams & celebrations.
