Qualification for scots will be any one holding British passport and living in Scotland for three or more years will have option to stay as Scottish or retain it’s British nationality and stay as British. All those who have stayed here for less than 3 years will have to retain British nationality. In Scotland there are more Irish than British and they will be given option to retain Irish nationality or obtain Scottish nationality.
