Several diseases that have been controlled/ eradicated from most parts of the world, still exist in Pakistan. The reason is high pollution rate and negligence behaviour of people on a whole. According to WHO, Pakistan rank at 122 out of 190 countries in term of health care standards.
Most common infections are related to intestine due to contaminated water, lack of medication and unhygienic food which contain harmful bacteria, viruses, parasites or chemical toxins that cause number of diseases, ranging from diarrhoea to cancers which are often life threatening.
To minimize risk of intestinal infections, water should be cleaned either by filtration or through boiling, food should be properly cooked and free from microorganisms.
