سال 2013ء میں خواجہ سعد رفیق کے وزیر ریلوے بننے کے بعد سے اب تک ریلوں کے 300حادثات ہو چکے ہیں جن میں 100افراد لقمہ اجل ہوئے اور 400لوگ زخمی ہوئے۔اس عرصہ میں ٹرینوں کے پٹڑی سے اترنے کے184حادثا ت ہوئے، 34مرتبہ ریل گاڑیوں میں آگ لگی جب کہ کھُلے ریلوے پھاٹکوں پر 66حادثات رو نما ہوئے۔حادثات کے یہ اعداد و شمار کسی ابتر نظم و نسق والے ملک کے ہوسکتے ہیں۔
ان 300حادثات کی بنا پر نہ کسی نے مستعفی ہونے کی زحمت گوارا کی اور نہ ہی کسی کو ان حادثوں کا ذمہ دار ٹھہرایا گیا۔ریلوے کے وزیر خواجہ سعد رفیق یا تو سپریم کورٹ کے باہر نظر آتے تھے یا اب اپنی وفاداری کا بھرم قا ئم رکھنے کے لئے سیاسی جلسوں میں اپنے قائد کا دفاع کرتے نظر آتے ہیں۔انہیں کوئی پریشانی لاحق نہیں کیونکہ یہ مردہ قوم انہیں خدمت کا یہ اعلیٰ معیار بر قرار رکھنے کے لئے عمر بھر ووٹ دیتی رہے گی۔

Since 2013, when Kh Saad Rafiq took over as Railway Minister, there have been 300 Railway accidents occurred, over 100 people lost their lives and 400 people were injured.
184 times train derailed causing accidents, 34 times train caught fire, total of 66 accidents occurred at railway crossings. Such statistics can only be found in a banana republic.
Nobody resigned and nobody have been made accountable for 300 accidents. Railway Minister was seen busy outside Supreme courts or in Jalsas to defend his leader over Panama scandal to prove his loyalty. There is no need to worry a dead nation will vote them again to maintain such standards for rest of our life.
