As mentioned in my previous post that Allah SBT has given the principles to make the institutions and Bani Israel was selected to do that job.
We know that Bani Israel has been demoted to represent Allah SBT on the earth.
Why this happened?
Allah SBT from Ayahs 47 to 121 is bringing charges against Bani Israel and giving the reasons of taking away the responsibility which He gave to them.
These reasons which resulted in humiliation and disgrace of Bani Israel will remain the same for any society or nation which will accept the responsibility of representing Allah SBT on the earth, if it doesn’t fulfill it’s responsibility.
For my own understanding I have divided the Ayahs between 47 to 121 into different sections.
First Section
It is related to perks and privileges given to people i.e. Bani Israel selected for the responsibility of representing Allah SBT.
This section also highlights that internal accountability was brought by Allah SBT when they deviated away from the promise. So we start
Aya: 47
يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ
عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.
Why Bani Israel was selected?
It is explained in Ayahs from 122 to 141. I will explain the reasons why it’s mentioned there and what’s logic behind this according to my understanding, Inshallah .
Aya: 48
وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا لَّا تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be helped.
These Ayahs explain that the selection is not the discrimination but it brings responsibility, as complete accountability is not going to happen in this world, if I believe I will have to fearful of the day of judgment when I will be on my own and will be asked about my responsibility.
Also no intercession will be accepted on the day of judgement, although Allah accepted it in this world and neither any compensation will be taken although Allah accepted it in this world. This will come in the coming Ayahs
Also want to mention , that this Aya will be repeated again with the difference in the sequence i.e. Aya 123
