Next blessing and privilege from Allah SBT, read
Aya:
وَإِذِ اسْتَسْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ فَقُلْنَا اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَ ۖ فَانفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا ۖ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۖ كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا مِن رِّزْقِ اللَّهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
And when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, “Strike with your stick the stone.” And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people knew its watering place. “Eat and drink from the provision of Allah, and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.”
Historical there were twelve tribes of Bani Israel, so looks like Allah SBT gave one spring to each tribe, may to live in harmony and advised them not to abuse the power. The chances are that out of those tribes, may be few of them might be economically or physically weak, so Allah SBT wanted to protect them and warned the powerful.
This also shows the human nature is that I want to show that which belongs to me and that gives me a sense of belonging and protection.
Relating this Aya to our country , the people might disagree but I find that in the presence of financially, economically and intellectually corrupt elite particularly and society as a whole, to get an atomic power and advanced missile system is a miracle.
Regarding the second section of this Ayah , the political and military godfathers of our country exploited the small provinces, they used the resources of small provinces and blame came on to , in our case to punjabis. Now these godfathers are there and exploiting the situation.
Next Aya reflects the unthankful, irrational, and impatient nature of human beings
Read Aya: 61
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَىٰ لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الْأَرْضُ مِن بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّائِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا ۖ قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَىٰ بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ ۚ اهْبِطُوا مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ ۗ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَّكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ
And when you said, “O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions.” [Moses] said, “Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into a town and indeed, you will have what you have asked.” And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and drew anger from Allah [upon them]. That was because they disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets wrongfully.That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress the bounds
Looking at my country, the morality of society is that we openly disobey the orders of Allah SBT, so Allah SBT is punishing us , that people are being given to eat the meat of dead animals, donkeys and so on so forth. There’s no movement in the society on these issues.These mafias are being protected by godfathers in power, although shells are being broken and there is light at the end of tunnel.
We have to fight against these political, religious and linguistic etc godfathers as a society not as groups.
This country is blessing of Allah SBT and I will be asked what was my contribution to make this country great.
