ایک ارب درختوں کی شجر کاری اور ان کے خلاف گنتی کا پراپیگنڈہ

خیبر پختونخوا میں ایک ارب درختوں کی شجر کاری کے بارے حال ہی میں سوشل میڈیا پر ایک گمراہ کن مہم شروع کی گئی ہے تاکہ اس کے بارے شکوک و شبہات پیدا کئے جائیں۔میں نے اس پراپیگنڈہ کو گمراہ کن ثابت کرنے کے لئے اپنے تئیں کوشش کی ہے۔
میں نہ تو حساب دان ہوں ، نہ جغرافیہ دان اور نہ ہی ماہر ارضیات تاہم مجھے پتہ ہے کہ جب کسی علاقے کی عمودی پیمائش کی جاتی ہے وہاں پہاڑی نشیب و فراز کو اس میں شمار نہیں کیا جاتا۔شجر کاری کے نقطہ نظر سے سطح مرتفع کو اس مقصد کے لئے دو گنا شمار کیا جاتا ہے۔دوسری سب سے بڑی بات یہ کہ سوشل میڈیا پر درخت شماری کے غلط اعداد و شمار پیش کئے گئے۔
خیبر پختونخوا کا کل رقبہ 75421کلو میٹر ہے۔اس کو مربع میٹر میں تبدیل کرنے کے لئے 1000کی بجائے 1000000سے ضرب دی جائے گی جس کو دوسرے الفاظ میں 7ارب مربع میٹر لکھاجائے گا یعنی ایک درخت کے لے سات مربع میٹر یا 63مربع فٹ جگہ دستیاب تھی۔اس میں سے تعمیر شدہ رقبہ نکال لیں تو پھر بھی شجر کاری کے لئے کافی زمین میسر تھی۔مثال کے طور پر کسی جگہ ٹائلیں لگانے کا خرچہ نکالنے کے لئے مربع فٹوں کو تین کی بجائے 9سے تقسیم کیا جائے گا۔
میرے حساب پر اعتراضات کا جواب دینے کے لئے میں ہر وقت حاضر ہوں۔
One Billion Tree and Propaganda of Calculation.

Recently, a misleading propaganda was made on social media to create doubts on plantation of one Billion tree in KPK. I have tried to explain why this propaganda was based on wrong calculations, hence misleading.
I am not expert in geology or geography or mathematics but I think area of a mountainous region is also measured horizontally just like other plain areas which does not include the rise n fall of land in the form of mountains. A mountainous area offers double the area for plantation of trees when including the rise & fall of mountains.
Secondly & most importantly it is calculation which is being wrongly calculated and presented on social media.
KPK total area is 74, 521 Sq Km. If we convert it into Sq Meters, it has to be multiplied by 1000,000 and not by 1000 to have the area in Sq meters. This gives an area of 74521,000,000 which can be described in simple terms as 7000 Crore and Forty Five Lakhs or 7 Billion sq Meters. This means One tree out of one Billion tree will have 7 Sq Meters or 63 Sq ft of area and which is quite substantial to allow 1 billion trees excluding constructions.
Take the example of converting Per Sq Meter cost of a tile which is divided by 9 to get per sq ft cost. It is not divided by 3.
I am open to any objection over my calculations.
