کلبھوشن کی سزائے موت کا حکم اس بڑی گرفتاری پر ہم نے سال بھر میں کیا کاروائی کی

کلبھوشن یادیو کو3 مارچ2016 ء کو گرفتار کیا گیا۔پاکستانی میڈیا پر ابتدائی شور و غوغا کے بعد اس کو بین الاقومی فورموں پر لے جانے اور بھارتی سرکار سےاحتجاج کی نیم دلانہ کوششوں کے علاوہ ہمیں اس مسئلہ کو نپٹانے کی حکومت پاکستان کی طرف سے کوئی سنجیدہ کوشش نظر نہیں آئی۔یہ پاکستان کی تاریخ میں بھارتی نیوی کے حاضر سروس کے بڑے عہدے پر فائز جاسوس کے پکڑے جانے کا زبردست معاملہ تھا۔بھارتی جاسوس کے اعتراف کے باوجود ہمارے وزیر اعظم نے بھارت سے احتجاج کرنے کی زحمت تک گوارا نہیں کی۔یہ پاکستان کے پاس زبردست موقع تھا مگر ہمیں معلوم نہیں تھا کہ اس موقع سے کس طرح فائدہ اٹھایا جائے۔
اب جب کہ ہماری قوم اور میڈیا کلبھوشن کو سنائی جانے والی سزائے موت کا جشن منا رہے ہیں میں ایک سوال پوچھنے کی جسارت کر رہا ہوں۔وہ یہ کہ اس انتہائی حساس معاملے پر گذشتہ ایک سال میں ہماری سول اور فوجی قیادت کس حکمت عملی پر عمل پیرا رہی؟ کیا یہ اچانک فیصلہ نیپال سے غائب ہونے والے ریٹائرڈ لیفٹننٹ کرنل کی اچانک گمشدگی کا رد عمل تو نہیں؟اگر یہ ایسا ہی ہے تو کیا یہ ہماری ناکامی نہیں کہ ہم اس بہت بڑی گرفتاری پر اپنی حکمت عملی پر ایک سال میں غور و خوض نہ کر سکےجب تک ایک ریٹائرڈ لیفٹننٹ کرنل کو نیپال میں نوکری کا جھانسہ دے کر پھنسا نہیں لیا گیا؟اس کا مطلب ہے کہ ہم نے بھارت کو جوابی کاروائی کے لئے پورا ایک سال دیا اوراب ہم پھر سے رد عمل دکھانے پر ڈٹے ہوئے ہیں۔ہماری قیادت رد عمل کی بجائے عمل پر گامزن ہونا کب سیکھے گی؟محض رد عمل کے علاوہ اس معاملے پر پاکستان کا ترکی بہ ترکی جواب کیا ہوگا؟

Kulbashan Yadav Death Sentence and How we performed on such a great catch in last one year. Is it action or Reaction?

Kulbashan Yadav was caught on 3 March 2016. After initial media hype by Pakistani media and half hearted attempts of our government raising issue at international forum or even protesting to Indian Government, we never heard any serious effort to handle the case by Pakistani Government. It was a classic case of catching high profile serving officer of Indian Navy in the entire history of Pakistan, our PM could never condemn Indian spy or even protest to India after revelations made by Indian spy. It was like we had a great opportunity and we never knew what to do with this opportunity.
While media and nation are celebrating death sentence of Kulbashan Yadav, I would like to raise the question, what was the strategy of our Civilian and Military leadership since last one year on this sensitive issue? Is sudden announcement of missing Pakistani retired Lt Colonel from Nepal is the reason of this sudden action? If so, is it not again our failure that we could not contemplate our strategy on this big catch for last one year until our retired Lt Colonel was trapped through a job offered in Nepal? it’s like we gave one year to India to take their counter step and we are again pushed to react. Will our leadership ever learn to act rather than to react? What will be counter move of Pakistan besides reaction?
