آج ہی نیو یارک ٹائمز نے صفحہ اول پر بھارتی فوجیوں کے سر قلم کرنے کی خبر چھاپی ہے جس کا الزام پاکستان پر لگایا گیا ہے۔جنازے کی ایک تصویر کے ساتھ ایک لمبی چوڑی خبر چھپی ہے کہ کس طرح پاکستانی فوج اور پاکستانی دہشت گرد سفاکی سے بھارتی فوجیوں کو ماررہے ہیں۔ یہ سب بطور خاص پاکستانی فوج کو بدنام کرنے کے لئے لکھا گیا ہے۔سوال پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ
نیو یارک ٹائمز نے کیا بھارتی فوجیوں کے ہاتھوں شہید ہونے والے کشمیریوں کے جنازوں کی کوئی خبر یا تصویرصفحہ اوّل پر کبھی چھاپی؟
ایکسپریس ٹریبیوں کس لئے روزانہ کی بنیاد پر نیو یارک ٹائمز کو اپنے خرچے پر چھاپ رہا ہے؟تسلیم شدہ پاکستان مخالف بین الاقوامی اشاعتی اخبار کو روزانہ پاکستان میں کیوں چھاپا جا رہا ہے؟ نیویارک ٹائمز کی سیکیورٹی کلیرنس کس نے دی ہے؟
جیو اورڈان سمیت کسی میڈیا گروپ کو نیو یارک ٹائمز کے بھارتی ایجنڈے سے ہم آہنگ ہونے پر سوال اٹھانے کی کبھی جرات ہوئی؟کیا آزادی اظہار کا مطلب صرف پاکستان کو نقصان پہنچانا ہے؟
کیا کوئی انظباطی محکمہ یا میڈیا ادارہ ہے جو اس مسئلے کو اٹھانا پسند کرے ؟
کیا پارلیمنٹ یا اپوزیشن اس مسئلے کو اٹھائیں گی؟
کیا پاکستان مخالف متعصبانہ ایجنڈا رکھنے پر ایکسپریس ٹریبیون نیویارک ٹائمز سے اشتراک ختم کر دے گا؟
کیا اس ملک میں کوئی شخص جاگ رہا ہے جو مقامی میڈیا کی طرف سے پاکستان مخالف بیرونی مفادات کا نوٹس لے؟
کیا کشمیر میڈیا پالیسی ماہرین اس خبر کا نوٹس لیں گے جو لائین آف کنٹرول پر بھارتی فوجی حملوں کو جواز فراہم کرتی ہے؟
یا پھر سوئی ہوئی قوم کے سرہانے خطرے کی گھنٹیاں بجانی بند کر دی جائیں؟
لیکن مجھے یقین ہے کہ قوم سو رہی ہے اور میں اس کے سرہانے ہارن بجاتا رہوں گا۔

and then read my analysis.
One story of New York Times can destroy a billion dollar business & investment in Pakistan like a blink of an eye. Last year, New York Times story proved more powerful than any of our institution when Axact and BOL were destroyed and when thousands went jobless on a single story by New York Times. GEO was leading the story locally in perfect collaboration with NYT. Express Tribune is the official partner of NYT in Pakistan by publishing entire NYT newspaper on daily basis at its own cost.
Today, NYT has published a front page story of beheading of Indian soldiers implying blame on Pakistan. A big funeral image with a long story how Pakistani Army or Pakistani militants are brutally killing Indian soldiers has been scripted to defame Pakistan and in particular Pakistan Army.
Questions:
1. Did NYT ever print a funeral of thousands of Kashmiris murdered by Indian Army on a front page?
2. Why and how express tribune is reprinting NYT on daily basis and providing free of charge with daily publishing of Express Tribune? What is the objective of promoting a proven anti Pakistan international publication in Pakistan on daily basis?
3. Does GEO, DAWN or any other media group of Pakistan has the courage of raising the issue of such alignments of NYT with Indian agenda? or it is just a freedom of expression meant to always damage Pakistan?
4. Is there any regulatory authority or media body who would like to raise this issue?
5. Will opposition or parliament raise this issue?
6. Will Express Tribune discontinue partnership with NYT for biased anti Pakistan agenda of NYT?
7. Will Information Ministry or ISPR take notice of this defaming Pakistan campaign against Pakistan?
8. Is anybody even awake in this country to take notice of such foreign agendas being supported by local media?
9. Did experts on Kashmir media policy take notice of this news which is in the background of LoC and might justify Indian Military action in Kashmir.
OR SHOULD I STOP BLOWING HORNS TO A NATION WHICH MIGHT BE SLEEPING?
BUT I WILL KEEP BLOWING HORN BECAUSE I AM SURE NATION IS SLEEPING.
