زندگی بسر کرنے میں ہمارا بڑھتا ہوا نمود ونمائش کا کلچر ہرطرف نمایاں نظر آرہا ہے۔بیس کروڑ آبادی میں صرف ایک فیصد کے لئے اعلیٰ درجے کی میٹرو جیسی ٹرانسپورٹ کی سہولت کی فراہمی نمائشی ہی تو ہے۔جلد آنے والی اورنج ٹرین بھی یہی رنگ لانے والی ہے۔اسی طرح 20کروڑ آبادی میں سے ایک فیصد کے لئے اسلام آباد بہتر سہولیات کی نمائش کے مترادف ہے۔اسلام آباد میں دکھائی دینے والا نمائشی پاکستان بقیہ پاکستان سے مختلف ہے۔
آدھے لاہور کو محبوس کرکے 30,000پولیس، رینجرز اور فوج کے جوانوں کو تعینات کرتے ہوئے سٹیڈیم اور اطراف کے راستوں کو بند کرکے پی ایس ایل کی تازہ ترین نمائش لگائی گئی۔فول پروف سیکیورٹی کے زیر اہتمام ایک واحد کرکٹ میچ کی نمائش پر ہم نازاں ہیں کہ ہم نے دنیا کو دکھا دیا کہ ہم محفوظ ملک ہیں۔دنیا کو دکھانے کے لئے ہم بلا خوف و خطر ایک کامیاب میچ کراسکتے ہیں۔ہماری کوتاہ نظر قیادت حفاظتی اقدامات کی اس نمائش پر قوم کو مباکبادیں دینے اور جشن منانے میں مگن ہے۔ہمارے قیادت سے محروم ملک میں شو باز آنکھیں چندھیانے والے نمائشی اقدامات تخلیق کر رہے ہیں۔ہمارے ہاںیہ نمودونمائش ٹوٹے ہوئے وعدوں کا پہلا اور آخری پڑاؤ ہے جبکہ مہذب دینا میں نمائش ایفائے عہد کا پہلا قدم ہوتی ہے۔نام و نمود کی دلدادہ قوم لاہور میں لگائی گئی نمائش کا جشن منانے میں مصروف ہے۔
LIVING ROOMS NOT SHOW ROOMS

Our culture of creating show rooms but not living rooms is visible everywhere in our society.
Metro is a show room of top class public transport for 1% people in a population of 200 Million people. Orange train is “coming soon” show room of similar impact.
Islamabad is a show room of good infrastructure city for 1% population of 200 Million people. Pakistan showcased in Islamabad is different than rest of Pakistan.
Latest showroom of PSL is being created at Lahore by closing down or cordoning off half of Lahore with 30,000 Police, Rangers & Army guarding the stadium and routes. We proudly present our latest show case of fool proof security for a single cricket match to show the world that we are a safe country, to show the world we can hold a single cricket match safely & successfully. Our short sighted leadership is celebrating and greeting nation over the “coming soon” launch of security show case.
We don’t have leaders but show room masters who can create flash blindness by showing the glittery show rooms. For us show room is the first and last stop of broken promises, for civilised world show room is the first stop of keeping promises.
Nation so fond of show rooms is already celebrating ” coming soon” show room of security to be staged at Lahore.
